Saving Meg: A Good Samaritan’s Act of Kindness at a Gas Station
Meg came into our care after a good Samaritan witnessed a horrific scene at a gas station. Two ‘men’ were cruelly beating this sweet girl in her cage. When the good Samaritan intervened, they were told the beagle was whining too much and threatened to kill her if she wasn’t taken away. Without hesitation, the good Samaritan took Meg home and reached out to TBR. Meg is now safe and resting comfortably in a loving TBR foster home.
It is heartbreaking to see such cruelty in our community, but this story reminds us that there are still good people willing to take action. However, we can’t do this alone. We need your support to continue our life-saving work.
