Lonerider Brewery helps Triangle Beagle Rescue raise $1000 for the Envigo Beagles!
After Triangle Beagle Rescue saved 129 of the 4000 Envigo breeding facility dogs this summer, Lonerider Brewing reached out to TBR to see how they could help raise money for the dogs medical needs. A plan was hatched to brew a limited-edition beer — a delicious Amber Ale called “New Leash on Life”. The brewery agreed to donate a whopping 30% of sales of the specialty beer sales and they quickly got busy designing a beautiful label for the can. LPS Labels stepped up and agreed to donate the labels-so amazing!
Thirty one cases of 4 packs were canned and offered for sale at a special event at the brewery on August 19th. Supporters came from near and far and bought up the beer quickly. As a special bonus to the beagles, Lonerider also decided to donate $1/pint of the amber ale that was sold at the event in addition to the 30% of 4 pack sales. After all sales were tallied, Lonerider made a donation of $1000 to Triangle Beagle Rescue to help defray vet costs of the Envigo beagles. This generous donation was timely as each beagle had to visit the Dogtor for spays/neuters and many of them needed additional procedures such as dentals, which can be quite costly.
The Envigo beagles are starting to settle into loving forever homes and each of the 129 that Triangle Beagle Rescue saved have adopters interested in them. Thank you Lonerider for partnering with us to help take care of these wonderful beagles!
