Susie crossed off a bucket list item-hanging with rock stars!

In a heartwarming story that’s sure to melt your heart, a Hospice Foster Beagle named Susie recently got to cross off a major item on her bucket list — snuggling with rock stars! Susie, who is being cared for by a Triangle Beagle Rescue Hospice foster family, was given a backstage pass to meet the members and crew of the popular band Mt. Joy at the Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh.

Susie arrived at the venue with some beagle buddies and was ushered into the green room area. She waited patiently for her big moment, and when it finally arrived, Susie embraced it and totally worked the room. The band & their crew were incredibly generous with their snuggles and hugs, and Susie thoroughly enjoyed the spoiling she received.

This heartwarming story is made even more special when you consider Susie’s backstory. She came to the rescue with a terrible case of heart worms and weakened back legs. She was diagnosed with IVDD and is now living out her remaining time in a loving Triangle Beagle Rescue Foster home. According to her foster mom, Susie’s favorite food is French fries, and she is a regular guest at the local food trucks and rates the deliciousness of their fries.

Thank you Mt. Joy & friends for giving Susie and her buddies a very memorable day!
