After a 5 month wait, Josie finally has a home!

You may remember that Josie came to the rescue after she had been hit by a car on a rural country road. A Good Samaritan came to her aid, picked her up and brought her to an emergency vet. We were asked to help her out and we said YES! The vet discovered that her pelvis had been shattered in the accident and at one of her vet appointments we were given BIG news — Josie was pregnant!! She had 6 puppies via c-section and was an excellent mom. All the pups were adopted and then she was finally able to have the FHO surgery that she needed. Her adopters waited for her for FIVE months and were finally able to make her an official member of their family yesterday. We are thrilled for Josie and her new family!
